Every project is unique. Here is how an order works at Gravure S.E.G., from your request to delivery.

Your request
Fill out our quote request form with your project details and attach your files (logo, text, list of names).

Review and quote
We review your project, contact you if details need clarifying, then send you a quote.

Approval
You approve the quote. When needed, we send you a proof (mock-up) of the engraving before production.

Production
We produce your order in our Repentigny workshop: laser or mechanical engraving, UV printing or sublimation.

Pickup or shipping
Your order is ready: pick it up at our shop or receive it by mail or courier.

Quotes and orders
How do I get a quote?
The easiest way is to fill out our quote request form. The more complete your request (material, dimensions, quantity, exact text, files), the faster and more accurate our quote will be.
Do you work with individuals or only businesses?
Both. We serve industrial, commercial and public sectors, as well as individuals for gifts and personalized items.
Can I order a single piece?
Yes. We produce single pieces as well as series. Enter the quantity in your request and we will include it in the quote.
My company uses purchase orders. Is that possible?
Yes. Enter your purchase order number in the form and it will appear on our documents.
Files, logo and text
What file format should I provide for my logo?
Ideally a vector file: .AI, .EPS, .SVG, .CDR or vector .PDF. This gives the sharpest engraving.
I only have an image (JPG, PNG) of my logo. What can I do?
Send it anyway. We can redraw your logo in vector format; vectorization fees may apply and will be shown in the quote.
Who is responsible for the spelling of the text?
The text is engraved exactly as you provide it. Copy and paste it into the form and proofread it carefully (names, dates, accents): an engraving cannot be erased.
Each piece needs a different name. How does that work?
Attach an Excel or Word list to your request, with one name (or text) per line. We engrave each piece according to the list.
Can I choose the font?
Yes. The form offers several styles (modern, classic, elegant, script, industrial). You can also let us choose the font best suited to your item.
Materials and items
What materials can you engrave or print on?
Engravable plastic (lamicoid), acrylic, metal (including anodized aluminum and painted stainless steel), wood, glass, stone, ceramic, leather and many more. We also offer UL and CSA compliant materials for the industrial and electrical sectors.
Can I supply my own item to engrave?
Yes, but we must know the exact material of the item. For the safety of our team, an item may be refused if engraving it poses a health risk (for example PVC, vinyl or an unknown material).
What is the difference between laser engraving, UV printing and sublimation?
Laser engraving marks the material permanently with great precision. UV printing prints in colour directly on the item. Sublimation infuses ink into coated surfaces for a very durable colour print. We will recommend the best process for your project.
Turnaround, pickup and shipping
What is the turnaround time?
It depends on quantity, material and process. Laser engraving is fast; UV printing and sublimation take a little longer. If you have a deadline, include it in your request and we will confirm whether it can be met.
Where do I pick up my order?
At our workshop: 151 McDuff Street, Repentigny, Quebec. We will let you know as soon as your order is ready.
Can you ship my order?
Yes, by mail or courier. Select shipping in the form; the cost will be included in the quote.
